The Throne of Grace

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy”

Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV)

The door is open, the King is awake, and nobody is checking your record at the gate. Picture it plain this morning. A throne, not a waiting room. Grace on the seat, mercy in His hand, and an invitation with your name on it.

Hebrews does not tell you to creep in hoping you will not be noticed. It tells you to come boldly. Boldly does not mean arrogantly. It means honestly, without hiding, the way a child runs to a father who already knows everything and still opens His arms. You do not have to clean up before you come. You come because you need mercy, and mercy is exactly what that throne gives.

Day 9 of 30 on grace: whatever you have been carrying alone because you thought you had to fix it before you prayed about it, bring it to the throne today, just as it is. The throne of grace is not impressed by your performance. It responds to your coming.

Prayer: Father, I come boldly to Your throne today, not because I am worthy, but because Jesus made the way. I receive Your mercy and Your grace to help me in my time of need. Amen.
